As expected, Rackley W.A.R. will run it back with Dawson Sutton behind the wheel of the team’s No. 26 Chevrolet Silverado for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. The team confirmed the full-time return of the 19-year-old racer in a social media post on Monday.

A native of Lebanon, Tennessee, Sutton completed his rookie campaign during the 2025 season, and he churned out admirable results.
Sutton collected a career-best finish of fourth at Talladega Superspeedway, the 23rd race of the season, and he also snagged a ninth-place result at Texas Motor Speedway earlier in the year. Despite being a short track ace, Sutton has shown great speed on the 1.5-mile intermediate ovals in the NASCAR Truck Series.
In addition to the top-10 run at Texas in 2025, Sutton also recorded a fifth-place result at Kansas Speedway during a seven-race schedule in the Truck Series in 2024.
The young racer will look to take a step forward in 2026 after logging a lot of laps and gaining quite a bit of experience in NASCAR’s third-tier National Series division.
A week after the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season concluded in Phoenix Raceway, Sutton headed over to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, where he competed in the prestigious All American 400 Super Late Model event, which is part of the ASA STARS National Tour schedule.
Sutton would collect the checkered flag in that event, which marked his second win of the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour season, as he also won at Toledo Speedway earlier in the season. Sutton took the win in front of his hometown crowd after getting around Cole Butcher, who has been electric on the local short track circuit this season, on Lap 209 of the 300-lap event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Sutton also won in the ASA STARS National Tour competition at The Milwaukee Mile in 2024.
