Kaulig Racing and Ram Trucks continue to unveil new drivers for its No. 25 “Free Agent Program” truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The latest driver to join the roster will be Corey LaJoie, who will slide behind the wheel of the No. 25 Ram 1500 at Darlington Raceway on March 20.
LaJoie, 34, is excited to partner with Ram Trucks and Kaulig Racing at the legendary 1.366-mile track in South Carolina.
“It’s always fun getting to drive a NASCAR truck, especially at the track ‘Too Tough to Tame,’” LaJoie said. “Ram’s program is a breath of fresh air into the sport, and I’m fired up to have a shot to wheel one for Kaulig. This group has worked incredibly hard to get these teams going, so I’m going to give them all I’ve got to put in a great day in the office.”
Ram Trucks, which made its return to NASCAR in 2026 after a 13-year hiatus, began the season with NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart behind the wheel of the No. 25 truck. Last weekend at EchoPark Speedway, Ty Dillon took over the driving duties, and this weekend at St. Petersburg, road racing ace Colin Braun was tabbed to drive the truck.
While LaJoie is the true definition of a “free agent” driver in 2026, as he is without a full-time ride, he did compete in the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, driving in place of an injured Brad Keselowski. LaJoie narrowly missed advancement to the Main Event at Bowman Gray.
LaJoie would also attempt the 2026 Daytona 500, behind the wheel of the No. 99 RFK Racing Ford, but would miss the field after being swept up in a late-race crash during the America 250 Florida Duels at Daytona.
The journeyman racer hopes to have better luck when he gets to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Darlington Raceway.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway is set for Friday, March 20, and will be televised on FS1 with television coverage set to kick off at 7:30 PM ET. The NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will provide the radio broadcast of the event.
