Cory Roper and Roper Racing Team came onto the NASCAR Truck Series scene in 2018, fielding a part-time entry in 2018, and planned a full-time entry in 2019, before scaling back their program to just nine races, but in 2020, they will return to the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Trucks Series in 2020, with some new funding.

The Advanced Auto Parts’ brand CarQuest and other affiliated brands will join Roper’s #04 team for multiple races in 2020, beginning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Additionally, Advances’ TechNet Professional Automotive Services and Advance Professional Brands will be associate sponsors on the #04 throughout the 2020 NGROTS Season.

Cory Roper and Roper Racing Team look to improve on a all-time best of ninth at Texas Motor Speedway in 2019. In fifteen NASCAR Truck Series starts, Cory Roper and Roper Racing Team have accumulated one top ten, and eight top twenties.

Roper is excited and optimistic about the 2020 season, saying: “I am excited about starting the 2020 race season with the partnerships we have gained with Carquest. Roper Racing Team has worked hard and invested in the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series to become a top tier team. We could not do this without our new partnerships and we are excited to be representing them for the 2020 season.”

The team did not mention their schedule in the press release, but the team confirmed on social media that they would be attempting the race at Daytona, as well as the race the following week at Las Vegas.
