It’s been all Ross Chastain and Brett Moffitt Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway in the UNOH 200. The two NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoff contenders have led every single lap of the event.

In Stage 1 it was Chastain who prevailed.

In Stage 2 it appeared it was Chastain’s Stage to lose. And lose it he did, as Moffitt went to the outside in turn three of the final lap. With Chastain pinned to the bottom with lapped traffic in front of him, Moffitt was able to carry momentum through the turn to win the Stage.

Moffitt has now led 34 laps on the night, while Chastain has led 77.

Chandler Smith impressed by finishing third in the Stage. Behind Smith were a trio of Playoff contenders in Matt Crafton, Stewart Friesen and Tyler Ankrum, who ended the Stage in sixth.

Ben Rhodes was seventh, Raphael Lessard ended up eighth, Grant Enfinger was ninth and Sam Mayer, who won the K&N East Series race earlier in the day, ended the Stage in 10th.

Johnny Sauter had an incident with John Hunter Nemechek, which has derailed Sauter’s night. The former champion is 20th, but he is still on the lead lap so he isn’t out of the picture just yet.
