Brett Moffitt Piloting Second Entry for AM Racing at Knoxville Raceway

In hopes of capturing the organization’s first-ever win in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, AM Racing will be bringing a second entry to Knoxville Raceway for next weekend’s inaugural Corn Belt 150 presented by Premier Chevy Dealers, the first-time the organization has brought an additional entry since the start of the 2017 season.

According to NASCAR’s Team Roster Portal, 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion and full-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Brett Moffitt, will be piloting the organization’s No. 37 Chevrolet Silverado, as the Grimes, Iowa-native looks to claim the checkered flag in his home state.

Jamie Jones – the crew chief of AM Racing’s ARCA Menards Series entry — will serve as Moffitt’s crew chief for the event.

Moffitt, who started the 2021 season competing full-time in the series for Niece Motorsports, will be making his seventh start of the year and his first since departing the No. 45 team in mid-April, in order to officially declare for points in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he runs full-time for Our Motorsports.

Austin Wayne Self will continue to pilot the team’s No. 22 Chevrolet Silverado, as he currently lurks around the bubble spot to break into the playoffs for the first-time in his career.
