The Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race is a segmented exhibition event that is for pride, money and not points. The race has been through tons of different formats since it’s inception in 1985. The race has been run at Charlotte Motor Speedway for all but one edition of the event (in 1986 the race was run at Atlanta Motor Speedway).
