When the NASCAR Xfinity Series field travels to Martinsville, Virginia to determine the series’ ‘Championship 4’ that will compete for the championship at Phoenix Raceway, two-time Spec Miata National Champion Preston Pardus will be majorly stepping outside of his comfort zone, announcing plans to make his oval debut at Martinsville Speedway on October 30.
Pardus will continue to partner with DGM Racing in the Dead On Tools 250 at Martinsville Speedway, piloting the No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro, the same entry he piloted to a career-best seventh-place result just two weeks ago at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL.
LETSSSS Go oval racing! My NASCAR Xfinity Series season hasn’t ended just yet!
It’s been one heck of a season and I can’t wait to try a new racing discipline! Big thanks to everyone that makes this happen! @dgm_racing_ | @XfinityRacing | @NASCAR_Xfinity pic.twitter.com/VZxJT561ak

Despite having never competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on an oval, the 24-year-old has collected three top-10 finishes in 11 career starts in the second-tier series, spread out across road course events over the last three seasons. George Gorham, Jr. competed for the organization in the spring race at Martinsville Speedway, bringing the No. 90 home in 18th-place.
