Video: Anthony Alfredo Involved in Multi-Car Wreck Late at Daytona

The intensity was building and building, until finally, the lid flew off the teapot.

Anthony Alfredo, driving the No. 5 for Our Motorsports, was falling back through the middle lane towards the back of the pack, when Jeffrey Earnhardt cut in front of Caesar Baarella.

That contact turned the Sam Hunt Racing machine up the racetrack with the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro coming along with him, dismantling all of the vehicles that were running on the outside line.

Also involved in the accident were Josh Bilicki, Shane Van Gisbergen, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Jeremy Clements, and Patrick Emerling.

With the incident happening inside the final five laps of Friday’s Wawa 250 at Daytona International Speedway, the multi-lap cleanup is going to send the field into NASCAR Overtime.
