Stefan Parsons returns to the track this weekend in a NASCAR Xfinity Series double header at Dover International Speedway. He’ll drive BJ McLeod’s No. 99 machine with sponsorship fro Rich Mar Florist. Parsons, 22, made the news official with a Tuesday tweet.

“I can’t wait to welcome Rich Mar Florist on board our No. 99 B.J. McLeod Motorsports this weekend at Dover,” Parsons said in a team release. “I’m honored to be a part of the Rich Mar Florist Racing family and to represent them at a special weekend for their company at Dover. We had a solid run at Dover last fall and I really think we can build on that experience and be even better this year. Doubleheader weekends are challenging but it’s nothing our team can’t handle. I have to thank Jonathan and everyone at Rich Mar Florist for making this happen!”

This is huge because Rich Mar Florist has already announced a sponsorship with Spencer Boyd’s No. 20 truck for this weekend in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, as well. So, it’s a big sponsorship investment in the sport from the Pennsylvania-based florist.

“I’m most excited to brand out with Stefan. This is our first entry in the NXS and it is so exciting to get into the Series with someone who’s family has been racing for generations,” said Jonathan Morrissey, Rich Mar’s fourth-generation owner.

Parsons, the son of former NASCAR Cup Series winner and current Truck Series Broadcaster Phil Parsons, has made a total of 15 career starts in the NASCAR National Series ranks, with 10 of them coming in the NXS and five coming in NGROTS competition.

Parsons has made four NXS starts for the No. 99 team in 2020, with his best finish being an 18th-place effort in Texas a few weeks ago. Overall, Parsons’ career-best NXS finish was a 12th-place finish at the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway a season ago. Parsons will carry the Rich Mar black, teal, red and white colors and will hope to land them in another career-best finishing position.
