Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, the largest retailer of closeout merchandise and excess inventory in the United States, has entered a partnership with Ty Dillon and JD Motorsports for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Focused Health 250 at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).

The brand, a long-time sponsor of various drivers and organizations in NASCAR’s National Series,  will serve as the primary marketing partner of the No. 6 Chevrolet Camaro in the second-tier series’ first road course event of 2024.

Dillon, whose career includes 200-plus starts in the NASCAR Cup Series, is now a series-regular in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for 2024 after joining Rackley WAR to pilot the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado for the race-winning operation.

A native of Lewisville, North Carolina, Dillon and JD Motorsports have worked together before on several occasions, including last year’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Sonoma Raceway, where he drove the team’s flagship No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro. Dillon also made two starts for the team in 2022.

“I’m looking forward to being behind the wheel of the No. 6 Ollie’s Chevrolet at COTA this weekend,” Dillon said. “I’ve logged a lot of laps there in a Cup Series car and know how to get around it. I’m excited to work with Johnny Davis, the JD Motorsports team, and a prominent brand like Ollie’s. Haley and I have a young family, so we’ve taken advantage of the bargain prices at our local Ollie’s and always enjoy discovering new items during our visits.”

In the season’s opening four Xfinity Series events, the No. 6 Chevrolet has been driven by JD Motorsports mainstay Garrett Smithley, who placed the entry inside the top-30 in owner points, sitting at P30, largely thanks to a season-high 16th at Daytona.

“We’re excited to have Ollie’s on our No. 6 Chevrolet this weekend, and happy that Ty Dillon will be driving the car,” Davis said. “Ollie’s is a reputable brand with a long-term investment in NASCAR, so we appreciate them partnering with our team and joining us in Austin. We’re focused on improving each week, and having Ollie’s and Ty on board provides JD Motorsports with the opportunity to experience success at a challenging road course like COTA.”

Ty, the youngest of the Dillon brothers, has one Xfinity Series victory to his credit, coming at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2014, where he had to outrun Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, and Kevin Harvick, among others to score his only win in the second-tier series, to date.
