Jeremy Clements and the No. 51 Jeremy Clements Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series team will have a new look this weekend at Richmond Raceway as Nordic Logistics will serve as the primary sponsorship partner for the effort at the 0.750-mile short track.

Rochester, NY-based Nordic Logistics will also serve as a primary sponsor for Clements in the NASCAR Xfinity Series events at Dover Motor Speedway on April 27 and Watkins Glen International on September 14.

Joining Noirdic Logistics on the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro at Richmond will be associate sponsors Spartan Waste, Workforce OHSS, Elite Towing, Whitetail Smokeless, Matman Designs, Carolina Driveline, ZMAX Race Prouducts, E3 Spark Plugs, and Dynamic Paintware.

Clements, a two-time winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, is ready to avenge a solid run that went south after a mechanical issue at Richmond Raceway relegated him to a 36th-place finish last season.

“I’m ready to get to short track racing this weekend,” Clements said in a team press release. “We had a really good Top 15 run going last year until we had an alternator issue that ruined our day.  So definitely looking forward to some redemption and taking the Nordic No. 51 [Chevrolet] to the front Saturday afternoon.”

Clements sits 17th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings after five races in 2024, and his best finish this season was a sixth-place effort at Atlanta Motor Speedway — the second race of the year. The South Carolinian scored a 15th-place finish at Phoenix Raceway, which — like Richmond — is a shorter flat track.

Clements and the No. 51 Jeremy Clements Racing team competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs in 2017, 2021, and 2022. The driver and team are looking to work their way back into the Playoffs in 2024 after an absence last season.

While this weekend at Richmond will be the first of three races that Nordic Logistics will serve as a primary sponsor for Clements, the company did serve as a co-primary sponsor for Josh Williams and the No. 92 DGM Racing team last season at Watkins Glen International.

The Nordic Logistics car finished 36th in that event after being swept up in a Lap 24 crash. They’ll look to improve upon that finish in their three races with Clements this season.
