Kaulig Racing, which, following the release of Josh Williams, will continue to field a rotating cast of drivers behind the wheel of its No. 11 Chevrolet for the remainder of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, added two drivers to the entry’s lineup on Monday afternoon.

Michael McDowell, the full-time driver of the No. 71 Spire Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series entry, will slide behind the wheel of the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet in the Mission 200 at The Glen NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Watkins Glen International this Saturday.

McDowell, who has two career NASCAR Cup Series wins, including wins in the 2021 Daytona 500 and the 2023 event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course, is well-versed at road racing and should give the No. 11 team a chance to contend for a race win this weekend at the 2.45-mile road course in New York.

In 2016, McDowell scored his lone NASCAR Xfinity Series win in a one-off start for Richard Childress Racing at Road America, a road course in Wisconsin.

Following McDowell’s stint behind the wheel of the car, Justin Haley, the full-time driver of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series entry, will pilot the No. 11 machine in the August 22 Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway.

Haley is a former Kaulig Racing driver who picked up four superspeedway wins for the organization in the NASCAR Xfinity Series during a two-year stretch (2020 and 2021).

The addition of the two Spire Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series drivers to the No. 11 Kaulig Racing team’s driver lineup comes on the heels of Carson Hocevar, the full-time driver of the No. 77 Spire Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series entry, finishing sixth for the team in last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Iowa Speedway, the first race for the team since parting ways with its full-time driver.
