The aggravation of not finding victory lane is over for Justin Allgaier. In the penultimate race of the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Allgaier stepped up, led 85 laps and collected his first win of the year, as he held off a hard-charging Cole Custer for the win.

Allgaier, by winning, secures his place in the Championship 4 next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

This win marks Allgaier’s 16th-consecutive top-10 finish. So, he certainly has momentum heading into the Championship race.

Allgaier will join Christopher Bell, Custer and Tyler Reddick in the winner-take-all battle.

Custer finished second and Reddick was third.

John Hunter Nemechek and Zane Smith had solid top-five runs in fourth and fifth.

Austin Cindric came up short on his bid to make it into the Championship 4 as he finished sixth, as did Chase Briscoe in eighth, Michael Annett in ninth and Noah Gragson in 10th.

Justin Haley also finished inside the top-10 in seventh.

Bell finished a disappointing 16th, one lap off the pace after leading 92 laps and winning Stage 1 and Stage 2. Bell was set to lead the field to the green in Stage 3, but he was busted for speeding on pit road.

This mired him deep in the pack, and on his way back to the front, Bell would spin out.
