After multiple different stints competing together in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, DGM Racing and Josh Williams have found their way back to each other.

Williams will be returning to the cockpit of a Gosselin-family-owned vehicle in NASCAR’s second-tier division, starting with the 2026 season-opener at Daytona International Speedway on February 14. The multi-year contract agreement will have the 32-year-old driver behind the wheel of the No. 92 Chevrolet.

The native of Port Charlotte, Florida, debuted in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series) in 2016, making a single start (with Jimmy Means Racing) before joining forces with Mario Gosselin and DGM Racing.

From 2017 to 2021, Williams spent his time competing for DGM Racing in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and after moving to another organization for the first two-thirds of 2022, returned to Mario Gosselin’s family-owned team to finish out the year, and run full-time in 2023.

After that, the journeyman driver got a big break at Kaulig Racing, where he drove the team’s flagship No. 11 Chevrolet for a season-and-a-half, before being released from the organization mid-season, where he sought refuge with a couple of teams to finish out the 2025 campaign, one of which was… you guessed it, DGM Racing.

Of his 249 starts in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (with his landmark 250th start coming to start the year at Daytona), 170 of them have come while Williams was behind the wheel of an entry for DGM Racing, with 11 of his 17 top-10s coming with the organization.

“The entire Gosselin family has been nothing but great to me my entire NASCAR career, and I consider them family of my own,” Williams said in a team release. “I’m thankful to have the opportunity to bring an amazing group of partners to the team that are ready to support our dream of taking this team to the next level – something that everyone at DGM deserves.”

DGM Racing has recruited part-time crew chief in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Steve Addington, to serve as the shot-caller of the No. 92 Chevrolet in 2026. Addington is no slouch in the crew chiefing department, with 20 victories in the NASCAR Cup Series (Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, and Tony Stewart) and 11 wins in the NASCAR O’Reilly (Xfinity) Series.

Addington served as a crew chief for a DGM Racing entry in 11 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events in 2025, working with CJ McLaughlin, Myatt Snider, Preston Pardus, Natalie Decker, and Josh Williams.

“I’m confident Steve [Addington] will be a huge asset to our group, and I look forward to working alongside him and Mario to put the No. 92 up front and build something special for years to come,” Williams continued.

DGM Racing picks up Williams on a full-time, multi-year contract after the team’s two anchor drivers, Ryan Ellis and Josh Bilicki, confirmed that they would be leaving the organization ahead of the 2026 campaign. Ellis will drive the No. 02 for Young’s Motorsports, while Bilicki’s plans have yet to be announced.

“It really is a full-circle moment welcoming Josh [Williams] back to our organization,” said Mario Gosselin, owner of DGM Racing. “We’ve spent countless hours working on race cars together, achieving some of our best results, and building memories that have shaped this team into what it is today. Josh is more than just a driver; he is a true friend of mine and someone that we all call family. He even shared his sponsor with me so I could race last off-season. He’s a racer through and through, and his passion makes him a perfect fit for our team as we enter a new era in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.”

The 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign will begin at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 14 at 5:00 PM ET on The CW.
