Mark Setzer and Jeremy Clements Racing have mutually agreed to part ways, the organization confirmed in a statement on Thursday.

Setzer, who joined forces with the family-owned and operated team in 2021, has spent the last four seasons working as crew chief of the No. 51 Chevrolet, earning a victory at Daytona International Speedway and back-to-back post-season berths.

“Mark [Setzer] has done a lot to help grow our program here at JCR,” said Jeremy Clements, driver and owner of the No. 51. “We have had some memorable moments with him on the pit box for sure, and I am grateful for all his hard work over the last four seasons. We wish him nothing but the best in whatever comes next.”

The Spartanburg, South Carolina-native has hit a rough patch in the NASCAR Xfinity Series lately, only scoring a single top-10 result in the last two seasons, finishing 19th and 20th in final points.

Kase Kallenbach, a long-time crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will step into a new role as crew chief for Jeremy Clements Racing and the No. 51 team in 2025.

In recent seasons, Kallenbach has been working in the second-tier series as a crew chief for teams like Alpha Prime Racing and JD Motorsports.

The Powderville, South Carolina-native has 177 starts as a NASCAR Xfinity Series crew chief, with a single top-five and three top-10 finishes, the most recent of which came with Caesar Bacarella at Michigan in 2024.

“I am looking forward to working with Kase [Kallenbach] this coming season, with his previous experience as crew chief in the Xfinity Series it should help us battle for race wins and chase an Xfinity Series Championship,” Clements added.

Clements and Kallenbach will begin their season together at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 15. Coverage of the event will be on The CW.
