With just hours before qualifying for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte, Sam Hunt Racing will have a driver change.

The team confirmed the news this morning that Brandon Gdovic will not race in Charlotte, citing his own personal concerns about his driving ability on mile and a half tracks.

In replacement will be Grant Enfinger, who drove to a 14th place finish in Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200.

With the change, Enfinger will have to qualify his way in on speed. Should he qualify, this would be Enfinger’s first Xfinity Series start.

Qualifying is set for 10 a.m. EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports app.
