On Monday, Joe Gibbs Racing announced that Drew Dollar will compete in four NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2022, driving the No. 18 Toyota Supra in both races at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.

Dollar will compete in both races at Daytona International Speedway (February 19 and August 26), as well as both events at Talladega Superspeedway (April 23 and October 1).

“I’m really excited to make my NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in Daytona with Joe Gibbs Racing,” said Dollar. “This will be a great opportunity for me to continue my development with an organization that has a long history of success in this series and to learn from a crew chief like Jason Ratcliff.”

Sponsorship for the effort will come from Lynx Capital and Dollar Concrete, who both served as primary partners in Dollar’s single ARCA Menards Series victory at Talladega in 2020.

In 34 starts, Dollar has accumulated 10 top-five and 24 top-10 finishes in the ARCA Menards Series, driving for Venturini Motorsports. This season, Dollar will compete in four ARCA Menards Series events for Kyle Busch Motorsports.
