Brandon Jones, who drives the No. 19 car, led the final seven laps of the 30 circuits that made up the opening Stage of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Jones benefited from his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates (Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell) pitting late in the Stage. This put him in prime position to hold off Austin Cindric for the Stage win.

This marks Jones’ third Stage win of 2019.

Kyle Busch, who had to make a second pit stop for a loose wheel, still rebounded to finish third in Stage 1. Busch led the most laps in Stage 1 with 16 laps led.

Noah Gragson ended the Stage in fourth and Cole Custer was fifth.

Justin Allgaier, Bell, Justin Haley, Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 1.
