Noah Gragson and JR Motorsports seem to have luck on their side when it comes to the random draw, as Gragson will once again start in the first position for Thursday Night’s Shady Rays 200 at Kentucky Speedway.

Since returning to racing in May, after a nine-week hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gragson has started from the pole in four of the ten events.

Kaulig Racing’s Ross Chastain will start in second, followed by Gragson’s JR Motorsports teammates Jeb Burton [No. 8] and Michael Annett [No. 1]. Harrison Burton will round out the top-five starters for Thursday Night’s first leg of the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Kentucky Speedway doubleheader.

Playoff bubble driver Brandon Brown will start 19th in his No. 68, while Myatt Snider [No. 93] and Alex Labbe [No. 36] will start in 28th and 16th respectively.

The lineup for Friday’s Alsco 300 will be determined by an invert of the top-fifteen finishers in Thursday’s 200-miler at Kentucky.
