Niece Motorsports is continuing to assemble a strong roster of up-and-coming talents for its NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series program in 2026.
The organization confirmed on Wednesday that standout Late Model driver, Parker Eatmon, will be joining the team to run a partial schedule in the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST.
Eatmon, a native of Wilson, North Carolina, is a former winner of the Thanksgiving Classic 250 at Southern National Motorsports Park, widely considered as one of the crown jewel events in short track racing.
This past season, the 19-year-old driver competed full-time in the zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Division, and also finished runner-up in the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown.
“I’m really excited for the season to start next year as I make my Truck Series debut,” said Eatmon. “Niece Motorsports has fielded some very competitive trucks throughout the years, so I’m looking forward to stepping into one for the first time. It’s been fun getting to know everyone at the team, and I think we will be able to have some good runs next year.”
Eatmon will get behind the wheel of a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entry for the first time in January, when the series returns to Rockingham Speedway for a two-day organizational test.
“We have a strong driver lineup for next year, and I think Parker Eatmon is one to keep an eye on,” said Cody Efaw, President and CEO of Niece Motorsports. “We’ve been paying close attention to the talent coming out of the CARS Tour because we believe that it’s one of the strongest development series out there. Parker has contended for wins there, which makes him a great candidate for a Truck Series seat. We’re looking forward to seeing what he is capable of.”
Throughout the 25-race campaign, Eatmon will be sharing the driver’s seat of the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST with Tyler Reif, Conner Jones, and drivers who will be announced at a later date. In addition to his Truck series events, Eatmon plans to compete in several Late Model events.
Niece Motorsports will make additional announcements about sponsorship and team personnel in the months leading up to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway — set to take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, on FS1.
