Throughout Kyle Larson’s entire career, he has been known for his incredible dirt racing talent. Even while running NASCAR, Larson always found a way to still run dirt races while keeping up with the busy demands of a full-time NASCAR Cup Series schedule.

Larson, the 2020 Chili Bowl winner, led the majority of Saturday night’s World of Outlaws race at Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri, and it appeared he was heading to his second win since returning from sensitivity training after uttering a racial slur during an iRacing event in April.

But a caution with two laps to go gave Donny Schatz new life, and the 10-time World of Outlaws champion who is rapidly closing in on 300-career WoO wins pounced.

Schatz threw a dive bomb pass for the lead on the following restart and went on to win the race.

Larson would come home second, but he continues to showcase his talents while continuing to rebuild his brand.

Brad Sweet, who went for a wild ride at Lake Ozarks during a heat race on Friday night, went on to finish third in Saturday night’s main event.
