With four-career wins on road courses in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series competition, Kyle Busch is usually one of the favorites any time the series turns right and left.
However, if Friday’s final practice for Sunday’s Toyota Save Mart 350 was any indication it may be a long weekend for the 34-year old Las Vegas native.
On two separate occasions, Busch missed the entrance to turn four, forcing him to go into a runoff area.
later in the session, Busch went for a spin in turn two.

Busch ended up just 16th-fastest on the scoring sheet in the session, which is uncharacteristic when you factor in his road racing prowess. However, it would be silly to think that Busch and crew chief Adam Stevens won’t get things figured out by race time on Sunday.
