The 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season is starting to take shape for DGM Racing, as they have made another driver announcement in regards to their organization. According to a press release from the team, Josh Bilicki will run DGM’s No. 36 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series season opener at Daytona.

Zeigler Automotive Group, a longtime partner of Bilicki will be the primary sponsor on the hood, while Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts will be the co-primary sponsor featured on the rear quarter panels of the car.

For Bilicki, 26, getting a chance to start his racing season at iconic Daytona International Speedway is special.

“Starting the new race season at Daytona is always a very important piece to the puzzle, so I am very excited to be joining DGM Racing in their No. 36 Chevrolet Camaro,” says Bilicki. “While it will be my first time with the organization, I am familiar with the team and how strong they have ran at Super Speedways in the past. I’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Zeigler Auto Group / Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Camaro in just a few short weeks!”

If running at Daytona wasn’t special enough, the rear bumper of the No. 36 car will also carry the logo of the Tony Elliott Foundation, which is a Foundation created to honor the late founder of Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts, who was a true racer in his own right.

Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts are proud to continue their relationship with Bilicki for another year.

“We are grateful and excited to be partnering with Josh for a second year this season,” says Cindy Elliott, president of Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts. “Josh is one of the most underrated drivers in the sport and works extremely hard for his sponsors and fans. We believe he will be the best ambassador for the Tony Elliott Foundation and Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts!”

The Wisconsin-native scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series top-10 finish at Daytona last summer. Bilicki, who has always had a penchant for taking care of his equipment, should give DGM a chance to be in the mix in the closing laps of the race at Daytona.

2022 is going to be a busy season for Bilicki, as he has already announced part-time driving roles with Spire Motorsports, to drive the No. 77 car in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022, and six races with Alpha Prime Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

As for DGM Racing, Bilicki will join Mason Massey, who will drive the No. 91 car, and Kyle Weatherman, who will drive the No. 92 car, for the team in the season-opening event at Daytona.

Massey is set to contest the majority of the 2022 season for DGM, while Weatherman is inked to the first five races of the year, currently.
