GMS Racing confirmed on Wednesday the team’s number assignments for the 2021 season.

In a video posted to social media, GMS revealed the five numbers that the team will bring to the track starting next season.

The two biggest changes at GMS in 2021 will be the addition of Chase Purdy and former KBM driver Raphael Lessard. After Brett Moffitt left the team for NIECE Motorsports, Purdy will take over the No. 23 Silverado and is expected to run the entire Camping World Truck Series schedule. Purdy made seven truck starts in the No. 24 for GMS in 2020, scoring a best finish of tenth at Kansas.

Lessard, who captured this first Truck Series win at Talladega earlier this season, will move to the No. 24 Silverado. The Canadien driver will start the season part-time in Daytona and is eyeing sponsorship that will move him to a full-time slate.

Reigning Camping World Truck Series Champion Sheldon Creed will try to claim his second consecutive championship piloting the No. 2 Silverado.

Zane Smith, who notched two wins and seven top-5 finishes in 2020, will retain the No. 21 with hopes to finish one position higher in the final standings.

Finally, Tyler Ankrum, who finished ninth in the 2020 Truck Series points standings, will retain his No. 26 Silverado from this past season with GMS.

The 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season will commence on Friday, February 12th from the Daytona International Speedway for the NextEra Energy 250.

Coverage begins at 7:30 PM EST on FOX Sports 1, and the Motor Racing Network.
