Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Free Bird, the rapidly growing Southern Spring Water brand with a free-spirited twist.

As part of the new agreement, Free Bird will serve as a three-race primary sponsor for Chase Briscoe and the No. 19 Toyota Camry XSE, beginning at Darlington Raceway on March 22. The brand will also be showcased at EchoPark Speedway (July 12) and the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL (October 11).

“We are thrilled to help introduce Free Bird to our NASCAR community,” said Eric Schaffer, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Joe Gibbs Racing. “The Southern Spring Water was created to celebrate America, making them a great partner for Chase Briscoe and our No. 19 team.”

The partnership further expands Free Bird’s footprint within the NASCAR space, which originally launched last October with a personal services agreement with Briscoe — who went on to make a strong post-season run and lock himself into the Championship 4.

“Partnering with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is a huge milestone for Free Bird,” said Jay Williams, Founder of Free Bird. “As a young brand, aligning with an organization that sets the standard in NASCAR is incredibly meaningful to us, and we’re proud to be part of a team that shows up prepared and performs when it matters most. We’re also grateful to K2 Sports Marketing for their leadership and partnership in helping bring this opportunity to life.”

During his maiden season at Joe Gibbs Racing, Briscoe had (by far) the best season of his NASCAR Cup Series career, which began in 2021, collecting three victories, 15 top-fives, and 19 top-10s, plus a series-leading seven pole positions.

Briscoe won back-to-back Southern 500 events at Darlington Raceway in 2024 and 2025, and last season, collected pole positions at three of the four crown jewel events — the Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, and the Brickyard 400.

“The partnership between JGR and Free Bird is an exciting one,” said Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 19 Toyota Camry XSE. “From the beginning, Free Bird was a natural fit for me. They are an all-American brand that has a lot of the same values that I do, so I am looking forward to having them on the car for three races this year. Darlington, Atlanta, and Charlotte are all tracks where the brand fits perfectly, and I think race fans attending will enjoy seeing their cool branding around the track.”

Free Bird Southern Spring Water will be on the No. 19 for the first time at Darlington Raceway on March 22. Coverage of the event will be on FS1.
