There are 37 cars [for 40 spots] on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The 23rd event of the season in NASCAR’s premier series.
As the charter agreement requires, the 36 teams that hold a NASCAR Cup Series charter are entered for Sunday’s 400-mile contest in Brooklyn, Michigan, including the series’ most recent winner, Chris Buescher, who will drive the No. 17 Castrol Ford Mustang for RFK Racing.
The sole open entry for Sunday’s annual contest at the two-mile oval will be driven by Austin Hill, as the NASCAR Xfinity Series points leader returns to the Beard Motorsports No. 62 for the fourth of seven scheduled events in 2023.
Other notable entries for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Michigan include No. 15 JJ Yeley (Rick Ware Racing), #51 Cole Custer (Rick Ware Racing), and #78 Josh Bilicki (Live Fast Motorsports).
