There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, race 34 of the 36-race NASCAR Cup Series season and the second of three races in the Round of 8 of the Playoffs.
With up to 40 cars being permitted to start each race in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will go home following this week’s qualifying session.
Joey Logano, who won last week’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to lock his place in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 field, will return this week in the No. 22 Team Penske Ford Mustang Dark Horse with primary sponsorship from Shell Pennzoil.
Notable entries among the 36 Charted entries for this event include Kaz Grala in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse and AJ Allmendinger in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
“Open” entries in the race will include JJ Yeley in the No. 44 NY Racing Team Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and Chad Finchum in the No. 66 MBM Motorsports Ford Mustang Dark Horse.
