There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International, the 28th race of the 36-race NASCAR Cup Series season and the second race of three in the Playoffs Round of 16.

With up to 40 cars being permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers and teams will go home at the conclusion of this week’s qualifying session.

Joey Logano, last weekend’s race winner at Atlanta Motor Speedway, will return this weekend in the No. 22 Team Penske Ford Mustang Dark Horse with primary sponsorship from Shell Pennzoil. Logano, who secured his berth into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 last weekend, will look to nab his third win of the season.

Among the notables within the 36 Chartered entries is Kaz Grala in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Shane van Gisbergen in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

There will be two “Open” teams in the race this weekend including AJ Allmendinger in the No. 13 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and Juan Pablo Montoya in the No. 50 23XI Racing Toyota Camry XSE.
