There are 36 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, the 24th race of the 36-race 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

With up to 40 cars being permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will head home following qualifying for this weekend’s race.

Austin Dillon, who won last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Richmond Raceway in controversial fashion, will return this week as the driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with primary sponsorship from Dow Mobility Science.

Among the notable entries in the field will be Cody Ware, who will drive the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse with primary sponsorship from Parts Plus. This will mark the fifth start of the NASCAR Cup Series season for the 28-year-old driver.

AJ Allmendinger will also pilot the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This will be Allmendinger’s 11th start of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. The California native is a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season for Kaulig Racing.
