There are 37 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, the 26th race of the 36-race NASCAR Cup Series season and the final race before the Playoffs begin.

With up to 40 cars being permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will go home after this weekend’s qualifying session.

Harrison Burton, last weekend’s race winner at Daytona International Speedway, will return in the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Burton’s win last weekend was his first-career win and it was the 100th win for the legendary Wood Brothers team.

As far as notable Chartered entries for this weekend’s race, Kaz Grala will return to the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse for his first start since the Chicago Street Race. Shane van Gisbergen will make his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series start in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

The lone “Open” entry on the entry list is the No. 66 MBM Motorsports Ford Mustang Dark Horse, which will be driven by Timmy Hill.
