There are 39 cars on the preliminary entry list for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Explore the Pocono Mountains 225 at Pocono Raceway, the 19th race of the 33-race 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
With up to 38 cars being permitted to start each weekend in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, one driver and team will be going home following this week’s qualifying session.
Shane van Gisbergen, who took the win in last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series The Loop 110 at the Chicago Street Course for his third win of the season, will return this weekend in the No. 97 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Van Gisbergen has never competed in a race at the 2.5-mile Tricky Triangle.
