David Gilliland Racing has reached a new primary sponsorship agreement with Dead On Tools, which will feature the tool brand as the primary partner for both Tanner Gray and Taylor Gray during the 2022 season.

For Tanner Gray, the driver of the No. 15 DGR Racing Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, he will carry the black and white colors of Dead On Tools this weekend at Darlington Raceway in the Dead On Tools 200.

As the 23-year old driver is seeking his first career win in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, he will do so with the excitement of a new partner on his truck.

“I’m thrilled to partner with Dead On Tools at Darlington Raceway. Having the opportunity to carry their colors as the event’s title sponsor is exciting, and I look forward to bringing home a strong finish,” said Gray in a team release. “It’s a special feeling to represent the brand as they continue to showcase their commitment to the NASCAR community.”

The elder Gray brother has been having a breakout year of sorts. Through six NCWTS starts this season, Gray has two top-five finishes and three top-10s and he finds himself eighth in the championship standings. If he can keep this pace up all season long, Gray will reach career-bests in nearly every statistical category.

For Taylor Gray, Dead On Tools will serve as the primary sponsor of his No. 17 DGR Racing ARCA Menards Series entry in the Busch’s Beans 200 event at Bristol Motor Speedway. Additionally, Dead On Tools will serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 17 NCWTS entry for Taylor Gray at Bristol as well.

For the younger Gray, it’s cool he’ll get to represent the brand on two vehicles on the same day later this season.

“As Tanner mentioned, it’s really neat to represent the Dead On Tools brand as they expand their presence in our sport,” explained Gray. “I’m excited to be the one who gets to drive the Dead On Tools Mustang in the ARCA Menards Series and also have them on my truck the same day.”

Taylor Gray currently sits second in the ARCA Menards Series East standings, after three races in 2022. In his lone ARCA Menards Series start this season, Gray scored the win at Phoenix Raceway, which was a companion event with the ARCA Menards Series West.
