Video: William Byron Unscathed After Spin Off Turn Two at Kansas

William Byron is the second NASCAR Cup Series Playoff driver to run into issues on Sunday at Kansas, spinning lazily off the second corner.

In the opening stages of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Kansas Speedway, the drivers that entered the post-season with the most Playoff points, have already found some trouble on track.

William Byron, driving the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports entry, was the latest to run into trouble, snapping loose at the exit of the second corner, and lazily spinning his RaptorTough.com Chevrolet down the backstretch.

Luckily for the Hendrick Motorsports driver, he was able to avoid any major wall contact – or contact with any other vehicle – allowing him to rejoin the running order still inside the top-10.

The No. 24 team would put a set of scuff tires on the Chevrolet Camaro for the next run, as to not lose out on a set of sticker tires laying in the pits, which crew chief Rudy Fugle hopes to have use of later in the event.

At the end of the first stage, Byron would be scored 13th.
