Video: Sponsor Vinyl Decal Flies Off onto Denny Hamlin’s and Tyler Reddick’s Cars at Darlington

It’s been kind of a wild day in Sunday’s The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington Raceway, the first race back for the NASCAR Cup Series in over two months.

On the opening lap of the race, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spun and slammed head-first into the wall. Then, Jimmie Johnson crashed from the lead on the final lap of Stage 1, which handed the Stage win to William Byron.

Shortly after Stage 2 began, Byron would crash after having a loose wheel. Then, toward the end of Stage 2, another odd moment happened, when a sponsorship vinyl decal on the wall of the Darlington Raceway began to peel away after Kyle Busch scraped the wall.

Shortly after, Kevin Harvick hit the decal debris, which shot it into the grille of Denny Hamlin’s car.

Hamlin successfully got the debris off, but then it flew onto Tyler Reddick’s car. NASCAR would have to call a caution to peel the remainder of the decal off of the wall of the track.

What else can we possibly see in this race?
