Video: Kasey Kahne’s March 2019 Williams Grove Sprint Car Crash

On Wednesday, Kasey Kahne Racing announced that Kahne — the former NASCAR standout — had been injured in a crash at Williams Grove earlier this season and that he would be stepping away from driving for an undefined period of time. Video from the crash that has injured Kahne has surfaced, and it was a pretty wild ride that led to Kahne being on the sideline.

In the crash, Kahne is battling another car on the track when he misjudges and clips the inside wall coming out of a turn. This upsets Kahne’s No. 9 car and he goes for a wild tumbling ride.

It was a scary ride, and while we don’t know the extent of Kahne’s injuries or what he actually injured in the crash it definitely paints a better picture of why the 39-year-old has stepped away to heal.

  1. Have to go to Facebarf to see the video? Man, that’s a bad idea. That thing is nothing more than a privacy invading pit of nastiness. Do us all a favor and drop that Facebarf junk.

    1. Hey Rod, as I don’t own the footage which I posted through the Facebook embed, I really didn’t have much other choice on how to make the video available.
