Video: Erik Jones Suffers Massive Impact, Fire After Tire Lets Go at Indianapolis

It is so good to see Erik Jones walk away after a massive impact in Sunday’s Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

On lap 73, of the 160 lap race, Jones had a tire let go in turn three. This sent his No. 20 Toyota Camry at a severe angle into the outside wall.

After obliterating the car, the machine erupted in flames.

Jones came into Sunday’s race 16th in the NASCAR Cup Series championship standings.
