Cole Custer’s day in Pocono is done following a nasty hit on Lap 15.
A replay shows that Custer was looking to get in line on the frontstretch in front of an oncoming Keselowski.
Driver No. 2 then took evasive action to dive below Custer, but misjudged the gap to Custer’s rear bumper, causing the contact.

The California driver climbed out under his own power while Keselowski was able to continue with minimal damage.
Thanks to the crash damage, Custer will move to a backup car for the second race of the Pocono doubleheader on Sunday.
The wreck marks Custer’s third DNF in seven races. He was racing in the top 20 at the time of the crash.
