Video: Buescher Shoves Reddick Post-Race, Words Exchanged

The crescendo of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway was like a powderkeg. The intensity continued to ramp up as three drivers battled tooth-and-nail for the race win in the closing laps.

On the final restart of the race, it was a fevered battle between Brad Keselowski and Tyler Reddick, which brought Chris Buescher into the conversation. When Keselowski and Reddick made contact for the lead, Buescher scooted past them both, and looked like he was marching toward his first win of the year.

Then, Reddick made contact with Buescher in a last-ditch attempt at retaking the lead.

It resulted in both drivers finishing 30th and 32nd, and it catapulted Brad Keselowski to the race win. After the race, Buescher stormed over to Reddick on pit road, shoved the driver of the No. 45 Toyota in the chest, and let him have it with his words.

“We have raced each other clean, what was that about,” Buescher questioned. To which Reddick attempted to explain, and he apologized. The apology wasn’t enough for Buescher, who responded, “That doesn’t work for me. We don’t have that sticker [Buescher pointed at the winner sticker on Reddick’s car] on our door right now. You need to be better.”

Reddick again apologized, and Buescher stormed off in a huff.
