Brad Keselowski’s bid to win the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway is in severe jeopardy as the driver of the No. 6 Mark Martin throwback scheme was sent spinning on lap three.
Keselowski, and the pack, were slowing to avoid Denny Hamlin, who had nearly crashed ahead of them. Chase Elliott, who was running right behind Keselowski, didn’t get slowed up in time and made contact with Keselowski.
The contact sent Keselowski sideways, but fortunately, for Keselowski, he was able to keep the No. 6 car from making severe contact with the inside wall.
Here is video of the incident:

Following the incident, Elliott queued his radio and apologized to his team and told his spotter Eddie D’Hondt to communicate that he did not mean to collide with Keselowski.
Keselowski sits one lap down, but if he can get a quick caution, he could receive the free pass and get himself back into contention.
