Valvoline Reveals 2024 Hendrick Motorsports Paint Schemes, Sponsorship Schedule

Valvoline, a long-time partner of 14-time NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning organization Hendrick Motorsports, is set to bring a pair of new paint schemes to the track in 2024, the brand announced on Thursday.

The paint schemes were revealed on social media via Twitter, in a video that shows off a video render of the two designs racing side-by-side on-track, before fading into a final shot with details of the sponsorship for 2024.

The globally-recognized brand is set for a five-race primary sponsorship at NASCAR’s top level in 2024, as part of a June 2022 partnership extension that awarded Valvoline sponsorship of Kyle Larson (No. 5) and William Byron (No. 24) through 2027.

Kyle Larson, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, will carry a more traditional red, white, and dark blue Valvoline-branded design in three NASCAR Cup Series events in 2024, debuting at Phoenix (March 10), with stops at Sonoma (June 9) and Chicago (July 7).

Meanwhile, William Byron, a teammate to Larson at Hendrick Motorsports, will have a paint scheme that features a primarily gray base, with accents of red, as well as light and dark blue on his No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro.

Byron will carry the branding of Valvoline in a pair of NASCAR Cup Series events at Nashville (June 30) and Charlotte’s ROVAL (October 13).

Last season, both Byron and Larson qualified for the NASCAR Cup Series ‘Championship 4’ event at Phoenix Raceway, and came home second and third place in final point standings, after both garnered impressive multi-win seasons.

Byron, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro, managed a spectacular campaign in 2023, scoring a series-high six victories, including a win with Valvoline-branding at Watkins Glen International.
