Move over peanut butter and jelly, thanks to Front Row Motorsports and Todd Gilliland, we all are now aware that the iconic combined sandwich spread has been officially supplanted the best combination of all time.

What am I talking about? Let me explain. The No. 38 Front Row Motorsports driver and team will debut a brand new primary sponsorship partner, Boozy Jerky, this weekend in the Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International. Boozy Jerky is a brand of beef jerky, which is infused with booze. According to the company, every bite of their patented jerky is meticulously hand-crafted in the United States to be tender, moist, and full of rich and defining flavors.

Booze and beef jerky, how can it get any better than that?

Gilliland, 24, is excited about the partnership and says the team’s hauler will be fully stocked with the product that touts itself as the original booze-infused brand of beef jerky.

“I’m excited to have Boozy Jerky on board this weekend,” Gilliland said in a team press release. “I’m looking forward to introducing them to the NASCAR world. We have our hauler stocked up already and the entire team is excited to try it. It’ll be a good weekend.”

Additionally, this weekend’s 90-lap race around the 8-turn, 2.450-mile road course will mark Gilliland’s milestone 100th career NASCAR Cup Series start. The driver, who scored an 11th-place finish in this event a season ago, hopes he can give his team, and Boozy Jerky even more to cheer about.

“I’m excited for The Glen—it’s such a fun track to race on. We don’t visit many road courses, so it’s a refreshing change of pace,” Gilliland explained. “This weekend is significant for me, FRM, and Boozy Jerky, as it’s my 100th Cup Series start and Boozy Jerky’s debut. There’s already a lot to celebrate, and I hope we can cap it off with a win.”

Gilliland’s crew chief Ryan Bergenty, who experienced a health scare following the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington, but was able to have a stent placed to alleviate an 80% blockage of his main artery, has a good feeling about this weekend’s race.

“Watkins Glen has been a good track for us. We left there with a solid 11th-place finish last year, but I think we can do better than that,” Bergenty stated. “We’re building fast Ford Mustang Dark Horses; we just need to execute at the track. The plan is simple: qualify up front and stay there. That’s easier said than done. but I think we can do that this weekend.”

Gilliland, who has four top-10 finishes this season, has recorded top-10 runs in his last two road course events at the Chicago Street Course (seventh) and Sonoma Raceway (10th).
