If you were hoping to score a ticket in the grandstands for Sunday’s 62nd-annual Daytona 500 — you’re out of luck. The race is officially a sell-out for the fifth year in a row, Daytona International Speedway announced on Thursday.

“The Daytona 500 is one of the greatest events in sports and will unfold in front of a packed house,” Track president Chip Wile said. “We have the most loyal and passionate fans in sports and we are forever grateful for their support. We look forward to another thrilling edition of “The Great American Race” as we kick-off the new NASCAR season.”

While grandstand tickets are no longer available, there are still premium hospitality, infield and UNOH Fan Zone/Pre-Race Access available.

The race, which is the most prestigious event on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit should be an incredible show as it always is.

Denny Hamlin won this event a year ago, and he has a chance to become the first driver in 25-years to go back-to-back in the Daytona 500.
