SUNNYD, part of the Harvest Hill Beverage Company, has partnered with Stewart-Haas Racing for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series seasons, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The popular orange drink brand will serve as a two-race primary sponsor of Kevin Harvick and the No. 4 Ford Mustang, as the Bakersfield, California-native enters his final full-time season of competition in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Outside of SUNNYD’s two races of sponsorship at Darlington (May) and Kansas (Sept), Harvick will carry the company on his firesuit, as part of a year-long associate sponsorship for the company.

“NASCAR has proven to be an excellent platform for the SUNNYD brand and it’s why we’ve joined Stewart-Haas Racing,” said Ilene Bergenfeld, CMO, Harvest Hill Beverage Company. “Being a part of Kevin Harvick’s final season as a NASCAR Cup Series driver holds a tremendous amount of value because of all that he’s accomplished in the sport.

In addition to the two parties’ partnership at NASCAR’s top level, SUNNYD will serve as a year-long associate for Riley Herbst, pilot of the No. 98 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

However, Herbst’s involvement in the deal isn’t limited to the Xfinity Series, as the Las Vegas, Nevada native will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut in the 2023 Daytona 500, piloting a SUNNYD-sponsored No. 15 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing.

“To have a veteran in Kevin and a next-generation talent in Riley Herbst allows SUNNYD to resonate with fans who have known Harvick since his Cup Series debut 23 years ago, as well as young fans new to the sport who see a little bit of themselves in Riley,” Bergenfled continued.

Earlier this year, Harvick announced that the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season would be his final full-time season. The 47-year-old has had an illustrious career, scoring 60 victories in the series, as well as a championship in 2014.

“As a Gen-Xer, I’ve grown up with SUNNYD. It’s very fitting that I get to represent them in my last year in NASCAR,” said Harvick, the 2014 Cup Series champion. “Our desire to win and compete for a championship is as strong as ever and I’m happy to have SUNNYD a part of our race team.”

A paint scheme for Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 Ford Mustang or Riley Herbst’s No. 15 Ford Mustang have yet to be revealed.
