Daniel Hemric will welcome back his longtime partner South Point Hotel & Casino as his primary sponsor this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but South Point won’t just be on his NASCAR Xfinity Series No. 11 car… they’ll also be the primary sponsor on his No. 16 NASCAR Cup Series car as well.
For Kaulig Racing, who acquired Hemric for the 2022 season, this is a huge opportunity for them to forge a relationship with South Point.
“We’re thrilled to have South Point Hotel & Casino onboard in Las Vegas this weekend for both races,” said team president, Chris Rice. “We have been loyal customers of theirs for the past few of years, and they have displayed industry-wide hospitality that is unmatched. We are excited to be able to continue our great relationship with South Point this year for our first, full-season in the NASCAR Cup Series.”
South Point is excited to grow their partnership with Hemric and his new team, Kaulig Racing.
“We are excited to grow our partnership with Daniel Hemric and Kaulig Racing for both Las Vegas races this 2022 NASCAR season, said Ryan Growney, General Manager of South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa. “The entire South Point family is looking forward to cheering on Hemric and his team.”
While everyone else is excited, Hemric is simply thankful to continue his partnership with South Point.
“South Point Hotel and Casino, as well as the Gaughan family, have been loyal partners of mine for quite a few years,” said Hemric. “I’m super thankful to them for wanting to continue our friendship and partnership and share with me the vision we have at Kaulig Racing.”
Hemric sits ninth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings after two events this season.
He has also competed in both NASCAR Cup Series races this season, so far, with Kaulig Racing.
Hemric was a longshot to score a top-10 finish last weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway after he found himself six laps down during the race. However, the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion clawed his way back into contention and finished ninth.
The Kannapolis, North Carolina-native will look to show more of that same gritty tenacity this weekend in the black, gold and red South Point cars.
