For the first time since 2011, Red Bull will make an appearance in the NASCAR Cup Series.

The iconic energy drink brand has partnered with Trackhouse Racing for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, serving as a primary sponsor in a combined six events for Red Bull athletes Shane Van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch.

“It’s an incredible chapter in the history of Trackhouse Racing to welcome Red Bull back to NASCAR,” said Trackhouse founder and owner Justin Marks. “Red Bull is one of the most powerful brands in the world and it’s an honor for us to embark on a partnership with such an iconic company.”

Shane Van Gisbergen, a three-time Supercars champion, will be running for Rookie of The Year honors in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025, piloting the No. 88 Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing.

The Auckland, New Zealand native has been a Red Bull athlete for nine years, dating back to his time in the Australian Supercars series, where he won titles in 2016, 2021, and 2022, and scored 78 wins, and 47 poles, making him the fourth most successful driver in series history.

Red Bull will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 88 Chevrolet in five NASCAR Cup Series events in 2025, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (March 16), Sonoma Raceway  (July 13), Iowa Speedway (August 3), Daytona International Speedway (August 23), and Kansas Speedway (September 28).

“I have enjoyed a lot of new experiences and met a lot of new people since coming to NASCAR but it is nice to be joined by Red Bull who has been a big supporter of mine for many years back home,” said Van Gisbergen. “I’d love nothing more than to give Red Bull a victory as a way to thank them for joining myself, Connor, and Trackhouse Racing.”

With the support of Red Bull, 18-year-old rising star Connor Zilisch will be making his debut in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025, piloting the No. 87 Chevrolet Camaro, a fourth entry for Trackhouse Racing.

Zilisch broke onto the scene of NASCAR’s National Series last season, making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at the Austin, Texas road course, where he scored the pole and finished in the top-five driving for Spire Motorsports.

“I was surprised when they presented me my Red Bull helmet and hat last summer and doubly surprised when they told me I would make my Cup debut in the No. 87 with a Red Bull paint scheme,” said Zilisch. “Red Bull is going to bring a lot more eyes to NASCAR and I think everyone will win when that happens.”

The Mooresville, North Carolina-native is set to compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season, piloting the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports. Zilisch will look to return to Victory Lane, after scoring a victory on debut at Watkins Glen, and three top-fives in his first four starts.
