Trackhouse Racing is significantly expanding its relationship with Red Bull, the iconic energy drink brand, ahead of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, the team officially revealed on Tuesday.

Red Bull athletes Connor Zilisch and Shane Van Gisbergen will have the globally-recognized brand board their Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 entries in a combined 25 NASCAR Cup Series events throughout the 2026 campaign.

Zilisch, who will drive the iconic No. 88 Chevrolet in his rookie campaign in the NASCAR Cup Series, will first carry the colors of Red Bull in the DAYTONA 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15.

Van Gisbergen, who switches to the familiar No. 97 Chevrolet for his second full-time campaign at NASCAR’s top level, will debut his new-look Red Bull machine at EchoPark Speedway.

Unlike last season, when both Zilisch (who was part-time) and Van Gisbergen ran identical Red Bull-branded paint schemes, this year, the design team at Red Bull and Trackhouse Racing came up with ways to distinguish them.

“It means a lot to have the No. 97 on my Cup car,” said Van Gisbergen. “It’s a number that means so much to my family and me, so to see it on my car for the first time was surreal. I love the red flash designs on both sides of the car. It’s going to look epic on track.”

The No. 88 Chevrolet will feature a splash of blue across both the paint scheme and Zilisch’s firesuit, while Van Gisbergen will have that same splash of color, just in red.

“It’s so cool to be driving No. 88 in the Cup Series,” Zilisch said. “The number is historic, and so many great drivers have driven it. I certainly have big shoes to fill, but I can’t wait to get the season started. I love the blue streaks across the side of car. The dark matte blue allows the light blue streaks to pop. I’m excited to have it on track next year.”

Red Bull has been a significant part of both Zilisch and Van Gisbergen’s career, both inside and outside of NASCAR. The Auckland, New Zealand-native spent several years racing in Australia with Red Bull backing and won three championships in the Repco Supercars Championship.

Zilisch, who has been regarded as one of the most talented racecar drivers in all of motorsports, was added to the star-studded roster of Red Bull’s athletes in September of 2024, and has forged relationships with the brand through both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The brand was present for Zilisch’s debut in the NASCAR Cup Series, as well as the three-race campaign he contested in the No. 87 Chevrolet throughout the 2025 campaign. Additionally, Red Bull served as a multi-race sponsor of Shane Van Gisbergen in the No. 88 Chevrolet, backing the champion driver in six races — one of which he won, at Sonoma Raceway.
