Big news for Phoenix Raceway on Thursday, as the 1-mile oval in Avondale, AZ has officially sold out all of the grandstand tickets available for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, November 10. The track and NASCAR made the announcement at its third-annual NASCAR Championship Luncheon.
In addition to marking the fourth consecutive NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race that has had a complete sell-out of grandstand tickets, Phoenix Raceway has now sold out each of its last seven NASCAR Cup Series race events.
“The level of appreciation we hold toward our fans is boundless after selling out another Cup Series event at Phoenix Raceway,” said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey at the luncheon. “Their continuous presence and support for NASCAR and our community show why Phoenix Raceway is a state-of-the-art racing destination worthy of hosting NASCAR Championship Weekend.”
While grandstand seating is sold out, Phoenix Raceway does still have a limited number of Hillside and Infield General Admission tickets available for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race. And while the tickets are going fast, the facility also says tickets for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race on Saturday, November 9, and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race (paired with the ARCA Menards Series West finale) on Friday, November 8, are still available.
The track encourages fans still looking to attend the weekend’s festivities to visit the track’s official website, PhoenixRaceway.com, to purchase the remaining unsold tickets for NASCAR Championship Weekend. While grandstand tickets for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race are sold out, fans can buy and sell their race tickets on SeatGeek, the Official Ticket Marketplace of NASCAR.
Ryan Blaney picked up the NASCAR Cup Series championship, the first of his career, last season with a runner-up finish to Ross Chastain in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway. The track has showcased incredible parity as four different drivers have emerged to take home the NASCAR Cup Series championship in the four Championship Races that have been contested at the 1-mile oval.
Chase Elliott took home the win and championship in the first Phoenix season finale in 2020, while Kyle Larson and Joey Logano accomplished the feat in 2021, and 2022.
