Nutrien Ag Solutions, a long-time partner of Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will return to the organization in 2023, pivoting its relationship to partner with AJ Allmendinger in the NASCAR Cup Series.

The company, which originally joined Kaulig Racing for the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, will serve as a multi-race primary sponsor of Allmendinger’s No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series, starting with the Daytona 500.

Last year, Allmendinger earned Nutrien Ag Solutions its first victory as a primary sponsor, when he brought the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro to a commanding victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).

The Los Gatos, California-native would go on to score three more victories in the Nutrien Ag Solutions colors, including his fourth-consecutive win at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL.

“We are excited to continue building our partnership with Nutrien Ag Solutions and have them be a part of our Cup program this season,” said Chris Rice, President of Kaulig Racing. “AJ is passionate about racing, so to have him on track representing growers who share that same passion is truly special.”

Allmendinger, who after a four-year hiatus will return to the NASCAR Cup Series on a full-time basis, will continue a career resurgence with Kaulig Racing’s second-year program at NASCAR’s top-level, a program in which he’s already collected a victory at Indianapolis’ Road Course in 2021.

“I couldn’t be happier to have Nutrien Ag Solutions along for the ride for my return to full-time Cup racing in 2023,” said Allmendinger. “We proved this partnership is all about celebrating the hard work of farmers and growers across the nation. I’m excited to continue this partnership and represent them on track.”

Since partnering with Kaulig Racing in 2019, Nutrien Ag Solutions has served as a primary sponsor in 58 NASCAR Xfinity Series events.

“We are thrilled to continue leading the field the 2023 season with AJ and Kaulig Racing.” said David Elser, Senior Vice President of North American Retail for Nutrien Ag Solutions. “The drive and determination that fuels our growers across North America also fuels AJ and the team. We can’t wait to root him on to continued success.”

The sponsorship campaign for Nutrien Ag Solutions with Kaulig Racing will begin with the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, as Allmendinger looks to capture a victory in “The Great American Race”
