Well, here is an unexpected bit of news for Monday afternoon. Apparently, Nature Farms Produce, which has been a partner of StarCom Racing in recent years, is branching out on their own and starting a NASCAR Cup Series team. This news is according to Kevin McGuire, a former ARCA Menards Series competitor, who is heading up the Nature Farms NASCAR team effort who spoke to TobyChristie.com on Monday.

In an exclusive chat, McGuire says the team has acquired several former Richard Childress Racing chassis from a current NASCAR Cup Series team and will share a facility with another team as they prepare for their NASCAR Cup Series debut later this season.

McGuire states that as the team continues to grow, they expect to move into their own race shop, but that building a NASCAR team is  slow process.

Michigan International Speedway in June, is the race McGuire hopes that the team will make their initial start in the Series with a driver to be announced at a later date.

In order to be fully prepared for the debut in June, McGuire says the team would have to know from a financial standpoint if they are good to go by April to get their car ready to race in time.

According to the “Racing Team” page of the Nature Farms Produce website, the team is searching for sponsorship and will be, “Pouring it On Soon,” with the No. 93 car.

In a NASCAR Sponsor Packet on the website, it states that the Nature Farms Produce, Inc. – Racing Division was started in the fall of 2018. In the packet, the team shows photos of their team hauler as well as several different paint scheme designs that have been mocked up for Bit of Pit Barbecue Sauce.

Bit of Pit Barbecue Sauce is one of nine private label items that Natures Farm Produce sells or is planning to sell in the near future.

The company also is home to the brands Grape Envy Soda, Oh Snap Humus as well as Poultry, Bacon and Beef Jerky brands that will be announced later. These brands are expected to rotate as sponsors on the No. 93 machine.

Nature Farms Produce, which is based in Salem, Wisconsin, currently sells their products in 15-20 stores and restaurants in the Chicago, Illinois area.
