On Sunday, October 20, it’s officially time to kick off the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 8 with the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Christopher Bell will lead the field to green as the driver of the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota picked up his third pole position of the season in Saturday’s qualifying session.

In all, six Playoff drivers will start from the top-10 starting spots on Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tyler Reddick, the regular season champion and current Playoff contender, will start second alongside Bell.

Ryan Blaney will start from the final starting position after a hard crash in Saturday’s practice session. The Team Penske driver cut a tire on his second lap of practice, spun out, and slammed driver’s side door first into the outside wall.

Sunday’s televised action kicks off with the NASCAR Cup Series Countdown to Green, which begins at 2:00 PM ET on NBC (streamable on the NBC Sports App). The official race broadcast for the South Point 400 will start at 2:30 PM ET also on NBC and the NBC Sports App.
